Impact (formerly Leading for Impact) Scholarships

NIGP is providing members with scholarships to participate in the Impact (formerly Leading for Impact) program at the Leadership Summit, February 22-24, 2024 in Houston, Texas. Impact is NIGP’s latest event offering that is designed to meet the leadership development needs of our mid to senior members.

These scholarships are geared towards individuals who would otherwise not attend due to lack of funding. Scholarships are awarded to cover the registration fee of $800 only. Award winners will need to cover all travel costs. We are grateful to our government partner Sourcewell for offering this scholarship and aiding NIGP’s mission to develop, support, and promote our members. Individuals are eligible for this NIGP scholarship award if they meet the following criteria:

1. Member of NIGP in good standing 
2. Have not received an NIGP scholarship for Leadership Summit (Leaders Edge or Leading for Impact) last year (February 2023).
3. Able to attend in person, attend all pre and post webinars, and submit a short write up (max of 2 pages) of how you will implement the learning from the program for greater personal and organizational impact.
4. Currently in a mid to senior level role and have the foundational leadership skills to actively take part in the discussions.

The deadline to submit applications is August 31, 2023 11:59pm EST.
