Edge Program Application 

We are excited that you have decided to apply to the Edge program. Edge is designed to help emerging leaders facilitate their leadership growth by giving them an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals while learning and applying today’s top leadership principles.

• This application must be completed in its entirety.
• This year, the program will be held from November 4, 2025 – March 24, 2026, and is a mix of virtual sessions and an in-person gathering in Tucson, Arizona, at Leadership Summit February 19-21, 2026. Please ensure you can commit to all components of the program before applying as successful completion of the program requires full participation.
• The program is limited, and selection is determined by committee review.
• You will be notified by September 16, 2025 of the outcome of your submission.

All admitted Edge Program participants will receive a scholarship of $875, which will be applied toward the Edge Program registration fee of $1,200. In addition, the scholarship will cover lodging at the El Conquistador hotel for three nights during the Leadership Summit. Participants will be responsible for paying the remaining $325 Edge registration fee. Please note that any additional travel expenses or costs related to attending the in-person event in Tucson, Arizona (February 19–21, 2026) must be covered by the participant or their organization. 

We are grateful to our government partner, Sourcewell, for funding this scholarship and aiding NIGP’s mission to develop, support, and promote our members.

Individuals are eligible for this NIGP scholarship award if they meet the following criteria:

1. Member of NIGP (agency or individual) in good standing.
2. Must not be a past recipient of the following NIGP scholarship awards:
   • 2025 Leadership Summit (Edge or Impact Scholarship)
   • 2024/2025 Professional Development Scholarship
   • 2025 Forum Scholarship (In person or Virtual)

The deadline to submit applications is August 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.
