Edge Program Application

We are excited that you have decided to apply to the Edge program. Edge is designed to help emerging leaders facilitate their leadership growth by giving them an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals while learning and applying today’s top leadership principles.

• This application must be completed in its entirety.
• This year, the program will be held from November 5, 2024 – March 4, 2025, and is a mix of virtual sessions and an in-person gathering in Chicago, IL at Leadership Summit February 20-22, 2025. Please ensure you can commit to all components of the program before applying as successful completion of the program requires full participation.
• The program is limited, and selection is determined by committee review.
• You will be notified by September 23, 2024 of the outcome of your submission.

All admitted participants will receive a scholarship of $650 to be used towards the cost of the Edge program registration. Please note, the scholarship does not include travel and expenses related to the in-person event in Chicago, Illinois, February 20-22, 2025.These expenses will need to be covered by you or your entity.

We are grateful to our government partner Sourcewell for funding this scholarship and aiding NIGP’s mission to develop, support, and promote our members.

Individuals are eligible for this NIGP scholarship award if they meet the following criteria:

1. Member of NIGP (agency or individual) in good standing.
2. Must not be a past recipient of the following NIGP scholarship awards:
   • 2024 Leadership Summit (Edge or Impact Scholarship)
   • 2023/2024 Professional Development Scholarship
   • 2024 Forum Scholarship (In person or Virtual)

The deadline to submit applications is September 13, 2024 11:59pm EST.
