Impact Program Scholarships

NIGP is providing members with scholarships to participate in the Impact program at the Leadership Summit, February 20-22, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Impact is NIGP’s latest event offering that is designed to meet the leadership development needs of our mid to senior members.

These scholarships are geared towards individuals who would otherwise not attend due to lack of funding. Awardees will receive a scholarship of $850 to cover the Impact registration fee. Please note, the scholarship does not include travel and expenses related to the in-person event in Chicago, Illinois, February 20-22, 2025.These expenses will need to be covered by you or your entity.

We are grateful to our government partner Sourcewell for offering this scholarship and aiding NIGP’s mission to develop, support, and promote our members.

Individuals are eligible for this NIGP scholarship award if they meet the following criteria:

1. Member of NIGP (agency, individual) in good standing.
2. Must not be a past recipient of the following NIGP scholarship awards:
   • 2024 Leadership Summit (Edge or Impact Scholarship)
   • 2023/2024 Professional Development Scholarship
   • 2024 Forum Scholarship (In person or Virtual)
3. Able to attend in person, attend all pre and post webinars, and submit a short write up (max of one page) of how you will implement the learning from the program for greater personal and organizational impact.
4. Currently in a mid to senior level role and have the foundational leadership skills to actively take part in the discussions.
